Opened in November 2003, Carterton Leisure Centre is a bright, airy and modern facility.

The leisure centre contains:

· A 6-lane 25 metre swimming pool with spectator seating and electronic competition timing suitable for swimming galas

· A smaller teaching pool

· A large gym, newly equipped with LifeFitness kit and a Power Plate - a revolutionary vibrating machine that helps increase muscle strength, reduce cellulite and much more!

· A spacious aerobics studio with a varied group exercise programme

· A crèche that runs three mornings a week for children aged 3 months to 5 years
