Capital Radio’s Help a London Child sponsors Sport in The City
The UK Fitness Network has secured £20,000 of sponsorship from Capital Radio's Help a London Child to deliver over 300 hours of free sport for young people over the summer holidays.
The scheme has been financially backed by Chelsea FC and will see a wide variety of sports taster sessions offered in four London boroughs.
Jubilee Hall Trust will use their portion of the funding at the Colombo Centre in Southwark where it will enable activities such as trampolining and rock climbing to be offered.
More sports taster sessions will be provided in Southwark by Fusion as well as by GLL in Hammersmith and Fulham, Aquaterra in Islington and Westway Development Trust in Kensington and Chelsea.
